Workloads and Duties
Teaching content: Head of Business Education Department, including IG and A-level business studies, economics and accounting subjects.
The Employee will perform such teaching, administrative and extra-curricular duties and activities as may be assigned by the school from time to time and for which the employee is qualified and/or able to perform. The Employee will carry out such duties in a professional manner; they may include,
−Providing teaching plans and lesson plans. Guiding/tutoring students in need.
− Providing reports on student performance and progress. Setting assessments, marking and providing timely feedback to students and School leadership.
− Providing periodic reports for parents/ guardians, attending parent-teacher meetings.
− Taking part in the School’s appraisal program. Undertaking/offering professional development training/projects.
− Offering extra-curricular activities.
Requirements:
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner as Head of Business Education Department. The successful candidate needs to have management ability, subject knowledge, teaching ability and experience to maintain and improve upon the current high standards. A willingness to contribute to the pastoral and extracurricular life of the School is essential. International teaching experience is desirable.
−MA Degree in relevant subject
−5+ years in related management field
−10+ years in related teaching field
−Must be qualified for a teaching work visa
−PGCE or teaching license preferred
−Self-starter, team player, a continuous learner with strong character and communication skills
