Work requirement:

1. Teach Public speaking classes with young students (Grade 2 to Grade 5 primarily) in office, mostly during the weekends and after school time during the week
2. Be able to teach based on a set of curriculum but also spark your own creativity for different levels of public speaking courses
3. Collaborate with the academic team on class design and material preparation.

Personal requirement:
1. Have experience teaching public speaking related classes before or competing in public speaking tournaments with awards
2. Patient and good with kids, have passion on education and self-motivated
3. Preferably have experience teaching young kids, either in kindergarten, elementary schools, or training centers.
4. Bachelor’s Degree or above
5. Strong work ethic and team player

    Harbinger debate is founded in 2018 based in Eastern China, specializing in public speaking and debate training. Our core focus lies on Public Forum debate teaching and taking students compete in different tournaments. We currently hold 3 offices, 2 in Shanghai and 1 in Hangzhou, teaching classes separately in both cities and occasionally in nearby cities including Nanjing, Wuxi, Suzhou and Ningbo (All nearby cities).

    The founders of the company both did debate in the United States and have extensive experience in coaching Public Forum debate. Academics is our core comparative advantage, as we are known as the most professional debate-teaching company in China, providing a package product for students, including tailored classes, office hours, warm-up competitions, practice debates and tournament helps. And we expect our coaches to prioritize the academic learning experience for all students as well, training them to be better speakers/debaters.
