The Role: Your Mission

As our Head of Boarding, you will be the visionary and operational leader for our boarding house. You will ensure that our boarding facility is not just a place to sleep, but a safe, supportive, and stimulating extension of the classroom. Your primary focus will be on the holistic well-being, safety, and personal development of every student in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Provide strategic direction and daily management for the boarding house, leading a dedicated team of residential staff.

Student Well-being: Champion student welfare, creating a positive atmosphere where every student feels valued, heard, and supported.

Pastoral Care: Implement and oversee a robust pastoral care system, proactively addressing students' academic, social, and emotional needs.

Community Building: Foster a strong sense of community, belonging, and mutual respect through engaging activities, house events, and traditions.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure the highest standards of health, safety, and safeguarding are consistently met and maintained.

Parent Partnership: Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, building strong, trusting, and communicative relationships.

Program Development: Design and implement a vibrant and enriching after-school activity program that promotes personal growth and a balanced lifestyle.

Who We Are Looking For:

Proven experience as a Head of Boarding or a similar senior residential leadership role in a school setting.

A deep understanding of the unique needs of boarding students and a genuine passion for student development.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, staff, and parents.

Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.

A resilient, empathetic, and proactive problem-solver.

Fluency in English is essential.
