The Global Alliance at Berkeley College is seeking part-time (or full-time)faculty to join our team of dedicated professionals to teach onsite for a 12-week term every semester at the Guilin University of Electronic Technology in China beginning Sept. 2026 and/or March 2027. All courses are taught in English as part of a dual degree program in 3D Digital Visualization. A Master's degree in Interior Design or Master’s degree in graphic design or a related discipline required. The Guilin University of Electronic Technology is located in Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. In addition to the stipend, travel expenses, accommodation, on campus for the duration of the instructional term are included. The mission of the Global Alliance at Berkeley College is to facilitate student and faculty mobility and interaction across institutions and borders. Qualified candidates should have outstanding pedagogical skills, cultural sensitivity, and global awareness. International teaching experience is preferred. Qualified candidates can be interviewed by appointment via Zoom or in person. Adjunct faculty will report Prof. Jim H. Lee, Executive Director.

Job Requirements:
• A Master's degree in Interior Design with a minimum of 2 years experience or B.Arch. degree with a minimum of 7 years experience in the design field or Bachelor degree in Interior Design with a minimum 10 years experience with NCIDQ certification.
• NCIDQ certification preferred
• Demonstrated success in teaching at an institution of higher education
• An ability to teach classes during the day, the evening or the weekend
• Experience using technology and interactive electronic materials to support teaching and learning
• Experience using a Learning Management System such as Canvas

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in graphic design or a related discipline with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.
• Expertise in industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, etc.)
• Familiarity with Canvas LMS or similar learning management system.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to teach onsite.
Stipend/Salary(12 weeks term; and it is possible to discuss an intensive term like 6 weeks or 8 weeks if the candidate wants to):
10,000 US Dollars per course. Each course will have four sections(classes) and each section requires to teach 48 teaching hours. Each teaching hour is 45 minutes. Normally, each semester will need to deliver at least one course and it is possible to deliver 1.5 courses or 2 courses over one semester and that could be doubled in a whole academic year. Apart from the stipend, accommodation, food and a round flight ticket will be included in the package.
