Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Speech and Drama Teacher to inspire students and cultivate a dynamic performing arts environment. The ideal candidate will excel in developing students' confidence, communication skills, creativity, and critical thinking through the exploration of spoken language, theatre, and performance. You will be responsible for delivering a engaging curriculum that may include IGCSE Drama, IB Theatre, or other international programs, as well as directing co-curricular productions.

Key Responsibilities:

Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons in Speech and Drama for a range of age groups and abilities (Primary and/or Secondary).
Skill Development: Teach core skills in vocal projection, articulation, interpretation of text, improvisation, stagecraft, character development, and script analysis.
Production Leadership: Direct and produce school plays, musicals, drama clubs, and entry for festivals/competitions. Manage all aspects of production as required.
Examination Preparation: Effectively prepare students for external examinations (e.g., IGCSE Drama, IB DP Theatre, LAMDA, Trinity College exams).
Differentiated Instruction: Create an inclusive classroom environment that caters to diverse learning needs, including EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
Assessment: Provide regular, constructive feedback and assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies aligned with school policy.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the English, Performing Arts, and wider school faculty to promote literacy and cross-curricular links.
Community Engagement: Actively contribute to the school's cultural life through performances, assemblies, workshops, and parent presentations.
Qualifications and Experience:

Essential:

Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, Education, or a closely related field.
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Teaching License, B.Ed.) with a specialization in Drama/Performing Arts.
Minimum of 2-3 years of successful teaching experience in Speech and Drama, preferably within an international school setting.
Proven experience in directing and staging theatrical productions with school-aged children.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technological skills.
Desirable:

Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Experience with international curricula (IB PYP/MYP/DP, IGCSE, etc.).
Examiner experience for a relevant board (e.g., Cambridge, IB).
Skills in technical theatre (lighting, sound, set design).
Experience teaching LAMDA or other speech and communication qualifications.

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified Intensive English/EAL Teacher to support non-native English speakers in achieving academic and social language proficiency. The successful candidate will design and implement targeted language programs to enable students to fully access the mainstream curriculum (e.g., IB, AP, IGCSE). This role involves both pull-out and in-class support, focusing on accelerating English language acquisition across the four key skill areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment & Placement: Administer initial and ongoing diagnostic assessments to identify students' English proficiency levels and determine appropriate support levels.
Program Development: Design, implement, and evaluate a differentiated Intensive English/EAL curriculum for individuals and small groups, aligned with the school's mainstream curriculum and frameworks like WIDA, CEFR, or ESL Scales.
Direct Instruction: Deliver explicit, scaffolded lessons in academic English, including vocabulary development, grammar, reading comprehension strategies, and academic writing.
Collaborative Support: Work closely with mainstream classroom teachers (across subjects) to co-plan, provide in-class support, and adapt materials to make content accessible for EAL learners.
Progress Monitoring: Track and report on student progress regularly, using data to inform instruction and set language development goals.
Resource Creation: Develop and curate effective teaching resources and materials tailored to the needs of EAL students at various proficiency levels.

Qualifications and Experience:
