Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging and comprehensive English Literature lessons to K-12 students, covering poetry, novels, plays, essays, and other literary genres.
2. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, curricula, and assessments aligned with international education standards.
3. Guide students in literary analysis, critical thinking, and creative writing, fostering a deep appreciation for literature.
4. Conduct regular evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and track student academic progress.
5. Organize literary activities such as book clubs, reading workshops, and drama performances to enrich the learning experience.
6. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and participate in school events and parent-teacher meetings.
Job Requirements
1. Native English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills.
2. Passion for literature and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
3. Strong classroom management skills and experience in creating a positive learning environment.
4. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.
5. Team-oriented, responsible, and committed to long-term employment.
6. Eligible to obtain a valid Chinese work visa and work permit.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in English Literature, English Language, Education, or a related field.
2. TESOL/TEFL certification (minimum 120 hours).
3. At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience in international schools or bilingual institutions.
4. Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB, AP, IGCSE, American Curriculum) is preferred.
5. Clean criminal background check and good health condition.

The school’s International Department delivers a program curriculum aligned with the American Common Core State Standards that is similar to that of its sister school in the USA, The MacDuffie School in Granby, Massachusetts. The instructional language of this International Program is English.
