Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver high-quality Economics lessons to students in high school.
2. Design engaging lesson plans, course materials, and assessments to enhance students' understanding of economic principles and real-world applications.
3. Facilitate class discussions, case studies, and research projects to encourage critical thinking and analytical skills.
4. Monitor student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum standards and participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
6. Organize extracurricular activities such as economics clubs, competitions, or guest lectures to enrich students' learning experience.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
2. Proven teaching experience in Economics at the secondary school level (preferably in an international or bilingual school).
3. Familiarity with international curricula is highly preferred.
4. Excellent command of both spoken and written English; native or near-native proficiency.
5. Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
6. Passion for education and the ability to inspire students.
Qualifications
1. Valid teaching certification (e.g., TEFL/TESOL, PGCE, or local teaching license).
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
3. Proficiency in using educational technology and software (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, learning management systems).
4. Cultural awareness and adaptability to work in an international educational environment.

The school’s International Department delivers a program curriculum aligned with the American Common Core State Standards that is similar to that of its sister school in the USA, The MacDuffie School in Granby, Massachusetts. The instructional language of this International Program is English.
