Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 hours per day;
Student Level: Grades 6-9;
Location: Pudong District, Shanghai;

Job Description

Compile subject unit plan, vertical plan and ATL curriculum plan;
Aimed at different student group, design course instruction based on the plans above;
Work with teachers from different subject groups on interdisciplinary unit according to coordinator’s request;
Manage student behavior and set clear rules aligned with the school’s policy;
Assign homework and give instructions and timely feedback to students. Provide support when necessary;
Take the role of student’s supervisor in MYP or DP projects;
Attend group meeting on time and assist subject leader in MYP or DP documentation;
Establish and maintain a good communication with colleagues and school administration;
Provide a clear and appropriate feedback on student performance so their parents can support them more effectively;
Complete other duties and tasks assigned by subject leader or the coordinator;

Requirements
Native English speaker;
Bachelor's degree or above;
TESOL/TEFL/CELTA certification;
Clear criminal background check;
Previous teaching experience in related fields preferred;

Salary and Benefits
Salary range 25,000 to 28,000 RMB (before tax) per month based on experience and qualifications;
Housing allowance 6,000 RMB per month available;
Work visa provided;
Medical insurance provided;
Meals provided during workdays;
Flight reimbursement 10.000 RMB once a year provided;
Holidays:
- All Chinese statutory holidays
- 2 days Christmas holiday
- Full paid 3-4 weeks Winter holiday
- Around 8 weeks Summer holiday (1 month base salary and 2 months housing allowance paid after contract renewal)
