1.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8 hours per day;
2.Student Level: Grades 6-9;
3.Location: Pudong District, Shanghai;

Job Description

1.Compile subject unit plan, vertical plan and ATL curriculum plan;
2.Aimed at different student group, design course instruction based on the plans above;
3.Work with teachers from different subject groups on interdisciplinary unit according to coordinator’s request;
4.Manage student behavior and set clear rules aligned with the school’s policy;
5.Assign homework and give instructions and timely feedback to students. Provide support when necessary;
6.Take the role of student’s supervisor in MYP or DP projects;
7.Attend group meeting on time and assist subject leader in MYP or DP documentation;
8.Establish and maintain a good communication with colleagues and school administration;
9.Provide a clear and appropriate feedback on student performance so their parents can support them more effectively;
10.Complete other duties and tasks assigned by subject leader or the coordinator;

Requirements
1.Native English speaker;
2.Bachelor’s degree or above;
3.Hold valid TESOL/TEFL/CELTA; teaching license is preferred;
4.Clean criminal background check;
5.Must have practical IB MYP teaching experience; international school teaching experience is a plus.

Salary and Benefits
1.Salary range 25,000 to 28,000 RMB (before tax) per month based on experience and qualifications;
2.Housing allowance 6,000 RMB per month available;
3.Work visa provided;
4.Medical insurance provided;
5.Meals provided during workdays;
6.Flight reimbursement 10.000 RMB once a year provided;
7.Holidays:
- All Chinese statutory holidays
- 2 days Christmas holiday
- Full paid 3-4 weeks Winter holiday
- Around 8 weeks Summer holiday (1 month base salary and 2 months housing allowance paid after contract renewal)
