About us
Founded in 2014 in a 30-square-meter book nook in Shanghai, Storyland has grown into a global community of educators from over ten countries. At the heart of the Former French Concession, we run literature and creative thinking workshops for ages 6-15.
We believe every child holds a universe of stories waiting to be told. By blending Eastern and Western educational approaches with original, publisher-backed curricula, we help kids develop genuine reading habits, critical thinking, and creative expression - without a single textbook or drill in sight.
Our team is diverse, international, and collaborative. We work closely together, exchange ideas freely, and support each other's growth. We value independent thinking, intellectual curiosity, and people who care deeply about their craft. If you're looking for a place where your voice matters and your work has meaning, you'll fit right in.
