Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Native English-speaking Primary Homeroom Teacher to join an international/bilingual school in Shanghai Jiading. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment and delivering high-quality primary education.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as a Primary Homeroom Teacher and take responsibility for daily classroom management
Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the PYP framework
Support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
Design inquiry-based and student-centered learning activities
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
Collaborate with teaching teams and participate in school activities

Requirements
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above in Education or related field preferred
At least 2 years of Primary Homeroom teaching experience
Teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / equivalent) preferred
PYP teaching experience preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passionate about working with primary-aged students
