MANAGING DIRECTOR / GENERAL MANAGER

You must currently live in mainland China, preferably Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Foshan, or elsewhere in the Greater Bay Area. Candidates requiring international relocation or visa sponsorship will not be considered.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Work directly with an experienced American entrepreneur to build a China-based product development, sourcing, e-commerce, and procurement business serving the U.S. market.

This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to build the operation, prove the business model, and eventually hire and manage a larger team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Identify and validate products for the U.S. market
* Source, negotiate with, and manage Chinese factories
* Control product quality, landed costs, timelines, and logistics
* Develop e-commerce opportunities using AI, Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, or similar platforms
* Create or manage short-form social media content
* Build operating systems and recruit future team members

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Currently residing and legally able to work in mainland China
* Fluent Mandarin Chinese
* Strong professional American business English
* Relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, product development, e-commerce, or AI
* Ability to negotiate directly with factories
* Strong commercial judgment and entrepreneurial initiative
* Willingness to work hands-on during the startup phase

Cantonese is highly valuable. Experience with printing, signage, trade-show products, LED products, building materials, pet products, or related manufacturing is helpful but not required.

COMPENSATION

* RMB 20,000–28,000 per month, based on experience
* Performance bonuses tied to measurable savings, successful product launches, and profitability
* Potential future profit participation or venture upside after demonstrated results
* The position may begin as Acting Managing Director during the initial evaluation period
