We are a fast-growing AI short drama production company focused on the North American market. Our team produces English-language vertical short dramas (1–3 minutes per episode) distributed across major overseas short-drama platforms. We are building a remote review team to ensure our scripts and finished episodes meet native-level language and cultural standards.

Position Overview

We are looking for native English speakers from the United States or Canada currently residing in China to join our team as part-time Script & Video Reviewers. This is a fully remote position with flexible hours — you can work from anywhere, anytime. You will help us polish English scripts and review finished episodes from a native audience's perspective.

Key Responsibilities

1. Script Review
- Review English scripts for natural, idiomatic language;
- Flag Chinglish, awkward phrasing, or machine-translation traces;
- Check dialogue for character consistency and believability;
- Identify cultural references, slang, or humor that may not
land with North American audiences.

2. Video Review
- Watch finished episodes and verify subtitle accuracy;
- Flag cultural sensitivities, stereotypes, or potentially
offensive content;
- Assess pacing, emotional beats, and overall viewer engagement
from a North American perspective;
- Provide concise, actionable feedback using our review template.

Requirements

- Native English speaker with U.S. or Canadian citizenship;
- Currently studying or residing in China (Guangzhou preferred but
not required — the role is fully remote);
- Strong attention to detail and a good sense of storytelling;
- Background in English literature, film/media studies, journalism,
communications, or cultural studies is a plus but not required;
- Prior editing, writing, or review experience is welcome but not
essential — we provide a review guide and sample annotations;
- Ability to meet 24–48 hour turnaround deadlines;
- Willingness to sign a standard NDA (all scripts and episodes are
pre-release confidential material).

Compensation & Benefits

- Per-episode payment, based on length and difficulty:
• Script review: 50–150 CNY per episode
• Video review: 30–80 CNY per episode
- Monthly settlement (paid by the 10th of the following month);
- Flexible workload — typically 3–5 episodes per week, adjustable
based on your schedule;
- Paid trial assignment (we do not ask for free work);
- Internship certificate available after 40+ cumulative hours;
- Opportunity to grow into a Script Consultant role with higher
compensation for outstanding performers;
- Long-term, stable collaboration — we release new titles every month.
