Head of Industry Research & Investment / M&A
Salary : RMB 2mil

Reporting to: Chairman

Key Responsibilities
1. Industry Research & Strategic Insights
Conduct in-depth research on emerging sectors such as new energy, AI computing, robotics, low-altitude economy, healthcare, and related advanced materials.
Analyze technology and industry trends, identifying critical technologies, technology gaps, and substitution opportunities.
Build and continuously update a global competitive landscape database for the advanced materials industry, providing industry reports and investment strategy recommendations.
Evaluate potential new businesses and technologies based on the company’s integrated “synthesis + modification” full-industry-chain strategy.

2. Investment, M&A & Deal Execution
Build a global pipeline of strategic investment targets, with a focus on North America,
Europe and Southeast Asia, particularly opportunities in advanced materials, modified materials, green technologies and circular economy.
Identify potential M&A, joint venture and strategic investment opportunities aligned with the company’s global expansion strategy.
Lead or manage the full transaction process, including:
Target screening and evaluation
Due diligence
Financial modeling and valuation
Deal structure design
Commercial and transaction negotiations
Investment proposal preparation
Transaction closing and execution
Develop post-investment integration plans and participate deeply in business integration,
technology synergies and supply-chain collaboration to ensure both financial returns and strategic objectives.

Requirements
1. Education & Experience
Master’s degree or above from a full-time university, preferably in Chemical Engineering,
Materials Science, Polymer Science or related technical disciplines.
10+ years of professional experience, with successful experience leading complete M&A transactions or overseas investment projects strongly preferred.

2. Professional Skills
Strong expertise in industry research and strategic analysis.
Proficiency in financial modeling, DCF valuation and investment risk assessment.
Solid understanding of cross-border M&A regulations, legal requirements and compliance procedures.
Excellent commercial judgment, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong negotiation and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with R&D, Finance and Legal teams.

3. Personal Competencies
Strong self-motivation, resilience and ability to work under pressure.
Willingness and ability to undertake frequent domestic and international travel.
Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to use English as a working language in international investment and M&A negotiations.

岗位职责：
1. 产业研究与战略洞察（行业智库）
- 赛道研究： 深度聚焦新能源、AI 算力、机器人、低空经济、医疗等新兴领域对材料的需求,开展产业链技术趋势分析，识别“卡脖子”技术及进口替代机会。
- 竞争分析： 建立全球新材料的竞争格局数据库，动态输出行业研究报告及投资策略建议。
- 战略匹配： 结合公司“合成-改性-回收”全产业链布局，评估潜在新业务线的商业价值与协同效应。

2. 投资并购与项目执行（交易操盘手）
- 标的开发： 搭建全球战略标的资源库，重点挖掘北美、欧洲及东南亚地区在新材料、改性技术及绿色循环领域的潜在并购/合资机会，匹配公司全球化产能与市场扩张需求。
- 全流程执行： 独立或主导团队完成项目筛选、尽职调查（财务、法务、技术）、交易结构设计、商务谈判、投决材料撰写及交割落地。
- 投后整合： 制定投后管理方案，深度参与被投企业的业务整合、技术协同与供应链对接，确保投资回报与战略协同达成。

任职要求：
1. 背景经历
- 学历： 全日制硕士及以上学历，化工、材料、高分子等理工科专业背景。
- 经验： 10 年以上工作经验，有成功主导过完整并购交易或海外投资项目落地者优先。

2. 专业技能
- 硬技能： 精通行业研究方法论，具备财务建模、DCF 估值及风险评估能力；熟悉跨境并购相关法律法规及合规流程。
- 软技能： 出色的商业洞察力与逻辑分析能力，具备优秀的谈判技巧和跨部门（研发、财务、法务）沟通协调能力。

3. 综合素质
- 具备极强的自驱力与抗压能力，能适应高频次的国内外出差。
- 拥有良好的英语商务沟通能力，能作为工作语言进行海外项目谈判。
