Job Overview
Wuhan University is seeking dedicated English Language / EAP Teachers to deliver high-quality English instruction for undergraduate students enrolled in the Sino-UK integrated curriculum. Job Responsibilities
- Deliver English and EAP courses with a maximum teaching load of 20 hours per week, including course preparation, in-class teaching and one-on-one tutoring.
- Participate in curriculum design, course optimization and ongoing programme improvement.
- Evaluate student performance, provide regular academic feedback, and offer consistent academic consultation during office hours.
- Collaborate professionally with faculty from Wuhan University, Durham University and the Joint Institute.
- Maintain an inclusive, positive and internationalized classroom and campus learning atmosphere.
- Complete routine academic administration work, including course coordination, teaching material proofreading and student enrollment support.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in English, Linguistics, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Language Education, General Education or other closely related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant English teaching experience; EAP teaching experience is highly preferred.
- Professional teaching certifications (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL, PGCE or equivalent) are desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom communication skills with strong student-oriented teaching awareness.
- Able to adapt and work efficiently in a multicultural, bilingual university environment.
