Key responsibilities
Lead the school end-to-end: academic standards, pastoral care, operations and strategic planning.
Build and develop the faculty, including both international and Chinese teaching staff — recruitment, induction, appraisal.
Own academic outcomes across [A-Level / AP / AST] pathways: curriculum delivery, assessment and student performance.
Act as the school's public face to parents, inspectors, accreditation bodies and partner universities.
Work with the Chinese leadership team and the Group to ensure regulatory compliance and alignment with Group strategy.
Hold ultimate responsibility for safeguarding and student wellbeing.

Candidate profile
[8–10]+ years in education leadership, including [3]+ years as Principal, Head or Deputy of an international or bilingual school in UK or US.
Recognized teaching qualification and a bachelor's degree; [master's in education or leadership preferred].
Native-level English; [Chinese language skills an advantage, not essential].
Proven record of raising academic outcomes and leading accreditation or authorization processes [e.g. CIS, WASC, Cambridge, College Board].
Cross-cultural leadership: able to work effectively with Chinese ownership and a largely Chinese faculty and parent body.
