International High School AP History Teacher Job Description:
1. Location: Shanghai city, China.
2. Contract Term: three years contract, starts ASAP.
3. Students Age: 15-18 years old.
4. Work Days: work on Mondays to Fridays, two days off on weekends.
5. Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours a week.
Remuneration and Benefits:
1. Salary: CNY20,000-30,000 monthly. Twelve months pay a year.
2. Accommodation: free of charge independent apartment or CNY3,000 housing allowance monthly.
3. Vacation: full paid two months summer vacation and one month winter vacation a year.
4. Holidays: full paid 13 day Chinese public holidays plus 1 day Christmas a year.
5. Airfare Allowance: up to CNY10,000 a year.
6. Insurance: accident insurance and health insurance provided.
7. Work Visa: yes.
Requirements:
1. Native English speaker.
2. Bachelor’s degree or above. Major in History related.
3. Familiar with US History course.
4. Teaching license with related teaching experience preferred.
