Immediate Opening for Elementary Homeroom Teacher (English) in Suzhou!
We are currently seeking qualified and enthusiastic Elementary Homeroom Teachers to join our team in Suzhou. The ideal candidate will have a passion for elementary education and the ability to create a supportive, structured, and engaging learning environment for young learners.
Position: Elementary Homeroom Teacher (English Medium)
Location: Suzhou, China
Student Age: 6–12 years old
Class Size: Around 20–25 students
Teaching Hours: Less than 20 hours per week
Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
Job Requirements:
• Proven ability to deliver engaging English-medium instruction across core subjects (English, Math, Science, etc.) and manage a homeroom class effectively.
• Experience in developing students' academic skills, study habits, and social-emotional growth.
• Experience in a multi-cultural teaching environment is preferred.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with local Chinese and international colleagues, subject teachers, and school staff.
• Effective communication with students and parents regarding academic progress and classroom matters.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (authenticated).
• A clean criminal background check (authenticated police report required).
• Teaching license/certification (e.g., PGCE, teaching credential) preferred.
• Prior elementary or homeroom teaching experience is advantageous.
