Job Title: Lower School Form Teacher
Start date: January 2027
Reporting to: Head of Lower School and the relevant Assistant Head of Phase (Grades 1–3 or Grades 4–6).

Team and Key Working Relationships:
Lower School; working closely with the Assistant Form Teacher (AFT), Heads of Department, phase colleagues, specialist subject teachers, the Learning Development Department, the Language Acquisition Team where necessary, and pastoral, boarding and pupil support staff.
Location: Jiangsu,China

Position Objectives
1.To provide a caring, safe and structured form-class environment in which every pupil feels known, valued and supported, recognising that the Form Teacher’s pastoral role is critical to pupil wellbeing, belonging and readiness to learn.
2.To deliver high-quality, age-appropriate teaching that fulfils the school’s curriculum aims and meets pupils’ needs, under the leadership of the Head of Lower School and relevant Assistant Head of Phase, working collaboratively with Heads of Department.
3.To promote pupils’ academic, personal and social development through effective teaching, consistent daily routines, strong home–school partnerships and active participation in the wider life of the Lower School.
