Shanghai Yucui Education Investment company manages the delivery of international degree programs in China for Australian and UK universities. We have challenging and rewarding positions for experienced personnel to assist in combined teaching and leadership positions. Currently we require an interior design teacher based in Jiaxing, Zhejiang.

Duties：
Weekly workload: Up to 28 periods (45 minutes each), Monday to Friday.
Plan, prepare, teach and assess learning activities that meet learner needs.
Work within quality systems, prepare session plans and unit outlines, maintain high-standard
records, and collaborate with team members in validation and moderation sessions with other
providers or industry.
Support student engagement and well-being by managing learning plans for at-risk students,
providing pastoral care, coordinating support services, and following up on absences to
encourage classroom re-engagement.

Mandatory Requirements：
A relevant qualification in Interior Design or related discipline (Bachelor minimum)
Minimum 2 years teaching experience (preferably in China)
Recent and demonstrable professional interior-design experience
Knowledge of current issues in vocational education and training
A portfolio of actual interior-design work
Experience with the professional processes relevant to the qualification: client briefs, space
planning, concept development, materials/finishes, drawings, specifications, documentation,
presentations, etc.
Demonstrated understanding of learning principles, teaching methodologies and a
demonstrated high standard of teaching practice; and a commitment to learner-centred
teaching.

Desirable Requirements：
A diploma of higher level qualification in adult education or vocational education and training
Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin)
Current knowledge of Australian industry practices, standards, software and technologies
relevant to the interior design units being delivered

Salary and Conditions：
Competitive salary from 21,000 RMB to 25,000 RMB monthly
Annual travel bonus of 6,000 RMB per year
Winter Holidays fully paid, Summer Holidays 4 weeks pay
