Java Developer's role
Lead teams towards technical excellence, and ensure teams’ deliverables meet/exceed expectations in terms of meeting requirements, quality, timeliness, & completeness

Key Responsibilities Areas
1. To assist Scrum master’s in project timeline estimation to predict accurate delivery of deliverables.
2. To lead work package/component system design to ensure quality metrics are met in terms of maintainability, reliability, scalability, resilience and adherence to company architectural di-rections.
3. To perform coding, testing and documentation in line with user & system requirements to de-liver source code, documents and test scripts that meet clients’ needs.
4. To perform 3rd level support in and after office hours to ensure fastest possible recovery to service.

Other Duties
1. To ensure team members constantly update project plan to allow proper tracking of project
status.
2. To ensure and protect company intellectual property (e.g. source code, documentation, etc)

Qualifications
A) Education

Diploma or Degree Holder – in Computer Science / Information Systems (or equivalent) from renowned tertiary institutions, with good results preferred.

B) Experience
1. Minimum 5 years software development experience, preferably in banking, online-gaming industry or any other high transactional web-based systems.

2. MUST have team development experience with parallel development with GIT and CI/CD environment

C) Knowledge
• Strong practical knowledge of Domain Driven Development and Test-Driven Development
• Strong usage experience of MySQL and MongoDB
• Strong knowledge of Java, Stored Procedures

D) Skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
• Able to work in a dynamic and ever-changing industry.
• Able to effectively lead a team & solve problem and cultivate team cohesiveness & teamwork.
• Determined to stay at the forefront of technology development.

The position is in Dubai [Affiliate office].
