Job Description:
As a high school teacher, you'll need to:
 prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities
 mark work, give appropriate feedback and maintain records of pupils' progress and development
 research new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devise and write new curriculum materials
 prepare pupils for external examinations
 manage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply
appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour
 undertake pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of homeroom teacher, and
supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties  communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in
departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole-school training events
 participate in and organise extracurricular activities, such as elective programmes, outings, social activities, school concerts and sporting events
 undergo regular observations and participate in regular in-service training as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
 lesson preparation and collaborative planning;
 assessment of / for students’ learning;
 class decoration
 contribute your expertise in a committee
 supervising students during night study
 participate in external accreditation exercise;
 participate in weekend student recruitment activities (At least one Saturday or
Sunday a month for not more than 8 weekends a year.);
 participate in the schools assembly programs
 other tasks assigned by the school during official work hours
Educational Qualification:
At least a Bachelor of Science with specialty in Chemistry related field
Preferable Professional Qualification
 PGCE
 Postgraduate Degree in Education or Related Teaching Subject
 A teaching license recognized by home country’s education ministry
Preferable Experience and Training:
 Familiar with IGCSE syllabus and IB MYP concept-based teaching methodology.  IGCSE related trainings
 MYP related trainings
 At least 3 years of teaching experience in the teaching subject applied for
 Homeroom teacher experience
 Track record of students’ academic results for IGCSE
