Job Summary

1. Be familiar with international curriculum frameworks, formulate thorough teaching plans and unit schemes, and deliver formal instruction.
2. Possess solid classroom management capabilities, inspire students’ interest in learning, and help them develop effective study habits and learning methods.
3. Prepare teaching aids and materials, compose detailed lesson plans, and fully accomplish teaching tasks and academic targets with high quality.
4. Design creative and differentiated assignments; assign and grade homework on schedule, monitor students’ assignment completion, and track their academic progress.
5. Actively participate in collective teaching research, training seminars, academic conferences and other comprehensive activities organized by the school and department.
6. Demonstrate effective communication with students, parents and school staff; care for students’ physical and mental well-being, and guide them to build positive learning attitudes and healthy lifestyles.
7. Maintain strong learning ability and motivation for self-improvement, pursue professional growth, and embrace long-term development alongside the school.
8. Abide by all school rules and regulations; complete other tasks assigned by the Academic Director.

Job Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver high-quality IGCSE and A-Level Biology courses fully aligned with examination board syllabi.
2. Boost students’ biological knowledge and practical lab skills through diversified teaching approaches including lectures, lab experiments, discussions and group projects.
3. Conduct regular student assessments via homework and tests, and provide timely feedback and academic guidance.
4. Organize laboratory sessions and extracurricular learning activities to cultivate students’ scientific inquiry mindset and hands-on capabilities.
5. Follow arrangements from the Subject Lead; produce examination papers and upload teaching resources as required on a regular basis.
6. Write objective and comprehensive academic reports for all students.
7. Deliver a minimum of 16 teaching periods per week as a general rule.
