Job Responsibilities
1. Multi-Cloud and Container Platforms: Responsible for the planning, deployment, upgrading, maintenance, and cost optimization of multi-cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
2. Automation and Delivery: Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and support R&D releases and environment setup.
3. High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Responsible for the operations and maintenance of databases, database sharding, and middleware; develop cross-region and cross-cloud disaster recovery solutions; and implement backup and recovery procedures as well as disaster recovery drills.
4. Networking and Security: Optimize Cloudflare and global access links; implement cloud security hardening, access control, and attack prevention measures.
5. Monitoring and Incident Handling: Refine monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; participate in on-call rotations; handle production incidents; and complete post-incident reviews and document operational best practices.
Qualifications
1. Experience and Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field; 5+ years of operations/SRE experience, including at least 3 years of Kubernetes operations experience in production environments.
2. Cloud Platforms and Containers: Able to independently set up, upgrade, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes clusters; familiar with Docker and Helm; proficient in at least two of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, and Azure.
3. Databases and Middleware: Familiar with high availability, backup and recovery, and performance tuning for MySQL and PostgreSQL; experience in operating database sharding and table partitioning solutions such as ShardingSphere and MyCat; Ability to independently manage message queues and components such as Redis, Nginx, and Elasticsearch.
4. Automation Skills: Familiar with Linux; proficient in using Terraform and Ansible to manage production environments; able to write automation scripts in at least one of the following languages: Shell, Python, or Go.
5. Disaster Recovery, Networking, and Security: Practical experience implementing off-site disaster recovery; Experience configuring Cloudflare in production environments, optimizing network links, and hardening cloud security.
6. Work Adaptability: Willing to accept long-term assignment in Dubai and on-call duties; fluent in reading and writing English, capable of conducting daily technical communication.
Bonus Qualifications
- Development and AI Operations: Experience in backend development or operations platform development, or practical experience with AIOps, large language models, or AI agent operations.
- Business and International Experience: Experience in operations for high-concurrency internet, financial, or payment systems, or experience with multi-region deployments in the Middle East and overseas.
- Technical and Team Skills: Practical experience with GitOps, service meshes, traceability, or advanced Cloudflare features; holds relevant technical certifications, or has experience in security compliance, team management, and technical leadership.
