Job Responsibilities

1. Market & Channel Development
Act as a business bridge between our Shanghai headquarters and the Nigerian market, supporting the development of our vehicle and auto parts business in Nigeria and neighboring markets.

2. Client & Partner Development
Identify and develop local automotive dealers, distributors, auto parts dealers, importers, fleet customers, and other potential business partners.

3. Business Development
Conduct client visits, understand customer needs, lead commercial discussions, and follow up on business opportunities to drive sales and partnerships.

4. Market Intelligence
Collect and analyze market information on competitors, pricing, customer demand, and distribution channels, and provide timely insights to the Shanghai headquarters.

5. Cross-Border Coordination
Work closely with the China headquarters and our local Nigerian team to support vehicle and auto parts sales, channel development, and market expansion.

Requirements

1. International Background
Nigerian nationals or international candidates with strong knowledge of the Nigerian market. Strong English communication and business negotiation skills are required.

2. China Experience Preferred
Candidates who have studied, worked, or lived in China are preferred, especially those with 3+ years of experience in China. Strong cross-cultural communication skills and an understanding of the Chinese business environment are highly valued.

3. Business Development Experience
Experience in business development, channel sales, international trade, or overseas market development, with the ability to independently develop clients and business opportunities.

4. Automotive Experience Preferred
Experience in vehicle sales, auto parts, automotive dealerships, distribution, or the automotive aftermarket is preferred.

5. Local Network Preferred
Candidates with existing relationships with automotive dealers, parts distributors, importers, fleet customers, or other relevant business networks in Nigeria are highly preferred.

6. Results-Driven
Proactive, independent, and results-oriented, with the ability to approach potential clients, build long-term business relationships, and convert opportunities into actual business.

7. Work Location & Travel
Must be comfortable with international travel and overseas assignments. Approximately 80% of working time will be based in Nigeria and neighboring markets, and 20% in China.
